frequently asked questions

  • 1) We care. Our greatest goal is to help you succeed. Whether you are trying to return to high level sports and activities, or trying to stand without pain - we are here every step of the way.

    2) We provide higher quality sessions. We provide services without time constraints, insurance or authorization limitations. Insurance based outpatient PT appointments only have 15-30 minutes of with the PT (and usually the PT is bouncing between 2-3 patients at once). Plus, insurance dictates what kind of services or treatments the PT provides. We provide 60-90 minutes of one-on-one direct treatment time. No distractions on our end. Plus, you can call, text, or email us between sessions and we will gladly help in any way we can.

    3) We save you time. Instead of waiting 2 weeks to see your doctor, to see the orthopedic specialist, 2 weeks get to imaging, and 2 weeks for insurance approval to start PT, you can book with us and be seen within 2 days.

    4) We are local. We provide services in Valley Center at our new location inside Village Square (29105 Valley Center Rd Suite 150).

  • We are now open in the new Village Square (Old VC community church).

29105 Valley Center Rd. Suite 150

    Valley Center, CA 92082

Directions from the main parking lot of the building:

    1. Walk into the main building. Make a left at the Village Square sign and walk through the courtyard doors to the next building. We are the first door on the right.

    2. Walk down the sidewalk between the Village Square and Cat’s View. Make a right and we will be the second door on the left.

  • To get started with physical therapy or another type of service, simply contact us and let us know what you are interested in. We’ll find a time to work with you one-on-one to get started!

If you aren’t sure what is right for you, we would be happy to speak with you or schedule a free 20 minute discovery session for a more in depth conversation about your needs, expectations, and your goals.

  • Your initial evaluation will be focused on meeting you, understanding your injury/condition, setting your goals, and establishing a plan of care. It will include a comprehensive assessment of mobility, strength, posture/ergonomics, motor control, balance, etc. We want to know how your body functions as a whole and the little details related to your pain or limitation.

You will also receive treatment on day one with appropriate manual therapy, exercise programming and prescription.

Follow up sessions will include tests and measures as necessary to track progress, continuation of manual therapy, and exercise with appropriate progressions or adjustments.

  • Your time is important to us. Each session will take about 60-90 minutes. However, the time of each appointment may vary depending on your needs.

  • A prescription is not required to receive physical therapy services. Under the state of CA, individuals can seek physical therapy from a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy under direct access. If you would like to submit a super bill to your insurance, a prescription may be required (depending on your insurance plan).

While diagnostic imaging may be helpful in determining tissue pathology, it is not always necessary to provide high quality care. With specific tests and measurement, we feel confident that we can provide appropriate care with or without the presence of imaging.

If we determine that imaging may be indicated, we will help refer you back to the primary care physician or appropriate specialist.

  • We are out of network cash based providers and accept check, cash, Venmo, Zelle, and FSA/HSA cards. We chose to do this in order to provide you with these advantages:

    1) High quality, one-on-one care without insurance based time limits and reimbursement pressures. This allows us to create sessions that are distraction free and focused on you. In most insurance based systems, clinics are pressured by declining reimbursement rates and the financial need to see more clients. Many clinics require therapists to juggle 2-3 clients at a time, meaning less individualized care and rushed treatment sessions.

    2) No waste of time. No jumping through hoops to get a doctor’s appointment or x-rays/imaging. No wait for insurance authorization and approval. No limitation on number of visits or weeks of care.

    3) Geared toward you as a whole. We have flexibility in what we treat, how long appointments take, and how many sessions you would like.

  • A super-bill is a claim that you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement for physical therapy services. We will provide you with a form including all of the necessary information upon request. The invoice will include a statement declaring that the you have paid in full for the visit and that reimbursement should go directly to you.

Disclaimer: The reimbursement rate and time varies depending on your insurance provider and plan. You can contact your insurance company directly for more specific information.
